In spite of the low rating, the efforts of ministers are generally appreciated more now than in early 2012, ruv.is reports.

Approximately 30 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the work of Minister of Welfare Guðbjartur Hannesson, Minister of the Interior Ögmundur Jónasson, Minister of Industries and Innovation Steingrímur J. Sigfússon and Minister of Finance Katrín Júlíusdóttir.

The work of Prime Minister Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir and Foreign Minister Össur Skarphéðinsson is appreciated only by around 25 percent of respondents.

Minister for the Environment Svandís Svavarsdóttir gets the lowest support rating, or 22 percent.
