CBS newsmagazine program 60 minutes featured the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull in a special earlier this week about volcanoes in which they are described as “nature’s ticking time bombs.”
Anchor Scott Pelley and Icelandic volcanologist Haraldur Sigurðsson traveled up the erupting Eyjafjallajökull in 2010 and in the program they discuss their impacts and potential impacts.
