Exhibition, Play and German Film Festival Open

The fourth German Film Days kicked off at Bíóparadís cinema in Reykjavík yesterday. The program consists of six films, the opening film being the award-winning Zwei Leben (Two Lives), which was Germany’s official entry in the race for the 2014 Oscars. All films are screened in German with English subtitles. The festival, organized in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Denmark, runs until March 23.

Also this evening, amateur theater club Leikfélag Hveragerðis in Hveragerði, South Iceland, will premiere Snow White in the theater at Austurmörk 23. The director is Hafsteinn Þór Auðunsson.

At 2 pm, artist Sólveig Aðalsteinsdóttir will open an exhibition in the movable culture “house” Skúrinn, which will be parked at the parking lot of the golf club in Seltjarnarnes.
