Exhibition of Paintings and Sculptures Opens in Reykjavík

Visual artist and art teacher Silvia Björg opens her fourth individual exhibition in Iceland at Kirsuberjatréð store and gallery, Vesturgata 4, in Reykjavík at 3 pm today.

Silvia combines different techniques, media and materials to form three-dimensional textured images.

The exhibition consists of paintings and sculptures which “reflect the power and magic of Icelandic nature … there will be glaciers, lava and volcanoes, snow, lichens and bird nests,” as described by Silvia.

The exhibition runs until July 8.
