A former Pentagon intelligence officer, Scottie Lee Martinez, who is 38, was sentenced to 80 years in prison yesterday for producing child pornography and for having sexually assaulted a minor.

He admitted to having molested a child while he was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Keflavík, Iceland, between 2001 and 2004, when the child was between seven and nine-years-old, as reported on hamptonroads.com.
US District Judge Jerome B. Friedman called the case probably the worst child exploitation case he has seen in 26 years on the bench.
