Plain Vanilla Games, the Icelandic studio behind the app QuizUp, has raised a USD 2 million (EUR 1.5 million, ISK 245 million) extension to its earlier USD 2.5 million. The new funding, led by Sequoia Capital and eVentures, closed before QuizUp launched earlier this month.
The game has close to two million registered users and has been played 100 million times, makingn it the biggest trivia game in the world, All Things Digital reports.
The game allows you to compete against your friends or strangers around the globe on more than 150,000 questions and 250 topics. The game is currently only available for iPhone.
