Vísir.is reports that last Thursday, the Minister of Industry, Katrín Júlíusdóttir, gave birth to two big and healthy boys. They have been named Kristófer Áki and Pétur Logi.

On the same day, actress Tinna Hrafnsdóttir also gave birth to twins, two healthy boys, just like the minister.

Lars Lagerbäck lost his first match as Iceland’s manager last Friday in a friendly football match in Osaka, Japan. The final score was 3:1 in Japan’s favor. The first goal was scored by Ryoichi Maeda for Japan after only 94 seconds. Arnór Smárason scored the only Icelandic goal in the 90th minute.
