Today is international V day for women’s rights, and on this occasion, Eve Ensler, the author of the Vagina Monologues is in Iceland.
She will meet President Grímsson later this afternoon, following a lunch with our female parliamentarians. Ensler is guest of honour at the V day programme at the Icelandic Opera tonight.
One of the women performing the Vagine Monologues will be Alliance Party deputy leader Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir.
