The European Ladies’ Team Championship 2016 in golf opened in Iceland today at Oddur Golf Club at the Urriðavöllur golf course, just outside Reykjavík. This is the largest international golf championship ever held in Iceland.
Participants include Europe’s best female amateur golfers and Iceland’s best female golfers. About 120 contestants from about 20 countries participate. France won last year’s championship, the second year in a row. The championship runs through July 9. For further information, visit this website.
