The Icelandic Met Office has forecast warm and sunny weather throughout most of the country today with temperatures of up to 20°C in the capital region. Southwest and East Iceland will enjoy the best weather today.
Expect easterly winds of 8-13 m/s with light rain in the south and southeast, but calmer easterly winds elsewhere of only 3-8 m/s. Isolated showers in the west.
Tomorrow’s forecast calls for rain in the east and southeast, but showers in the southwest and dry in the north. Temperatures tomorrow will range from 10 to 19°C.
Friday will be relatively warm, but as we enter the weekend, temperatures will gradually drop again.
