Owners and sales representatives of electric cars founded the Electric Car Association of Iceland yesterday. The association was founded by eight of their representatives in Reykjavík shopping mall Kringlan.

They rode their electric cars to Kringlan and set a new Icelandic record while at it because never before have as many electric cars been gathered in one place in Iceland, Fréttablaðið reports.
The association’s main purpose is to increase and develop electric cars in Iceland. Their number is currently around 20.
