The September issue of free guide What’s On in Reykjavík, and the eighth issue this year, has arrived. This edition is dedicated to the Reykjavík International Film Festival (RIFF), September 25 to October 5.
The RIFF is the largest film festival held in Iceland. It is an independent organization and is not linked to any cinema; it also cooperates with the University of Iceland and organizes presentations, art exhibitions and more. Environmental protection will be this year’s overarching theme.
Also in this issue is an article about the National Museum of Iceland, which is growing in popularity both among native and foreign visitors, and as usual, coverage about restaurants in the capital region and events related to tourism, culture and the arts.
