There were major traffic delays on Hafnarfjarðarvegur road between Hafnarfjörður and Reykjavík this morning, due to a traffic accident close to the Kópavogur exit. Only one lane was open while police worked at the scene, resulting in very slow traffic and long lines.
An eight-car accident occurred where one car after another rear-ended. As far as RÚV knows, no injuries were reported.
