A driving instructor in Reykjavík has been charged of the sexual abuse by six boys between 14 and 17, Fréttabladid reported.
The charged driving instructor is not working as such anymore. The sexual abuse division of the Reykjavík Police has been investigating the charges. When they close the investigation the case will be sent to the State Prosecutor who defines whether the driving instructor will be tried or not.
According to Fréttabladid the older boys were learning how to drive a car but the younger ones were learning to drive light motorcycles when the sexual abuse took place.
The alleged sexual offences happened over a period of time. When one of the boys decided to break his silence about the abuse more came forward.
The driving instructor is allegedly believed to have committed serious sexual abuse with at least some of his alleged victims.
