Divers from search and rescue teams found the body of a person missing since January 26 in Sandgerdi harbor in southwest Iceland yesterday.
The 60-year-old Sandgerdi resident was originally from Scotland and had been working in the local fish processing plant for a few months, visir.is reports.
A search was launched for the man on Tuesday. Fifty to 60 members of police and emergency forces with dogs searched harbor areas and beaches until early the next morning. The search was then resumed later in the morning.
