The representatives of Delta Air Lines announced last Friday that they plan to offer nonstop flights between New York and Iceland as of June 1 next year. It will be the first US airline to offer flights to Iceland.
According to businessweek.com, Delta will use a Boeing 757 aircraft with 15 premium seats and 155 seats in coach.
The flights will start at the St. Paul Airport in Minneapolis and make a stopover at the JFK Airport in New York before carrying on to Keflavík International Airport in Iceland.
