Iceland-based deCODE Genetics continues to lose revenue; the company’s losses in the third quarter of 2007 measured more than USD 24.4 million (EUR 16.9 million), USD 610,000 (EUR 420,000) more than what the company lost in the third quarter of 2006.
According to a press release issued by deCODE, the company lost USD 63.1 million (EUR 43.6 million) during the first nine months of this year, USD 431,000 (EUR 620,000) more than during the same period last year, Fréttabladid reports.
DeCODE is, however, also generating more income than last year. The company’s income in the third quarter of 2007 amounted to USD 11.0 million (EUR 7.6 million), USD 2.3 million (EUR 1.6 million) more than in the third quarter of 2006.
