American film director David Lynch arrives in Iceland tomorrow. He will hold a presentation on transcendental meditation, which he believes could be the key to an upswing in the Icelandic community.
“According to the formula, only one percent of the nation has to adopt this meditation technique and since Icelanders is a nation of considerably few individuals not many people are needed,” Lynch said in an interview with Fréttabladid.
“They just have to meditate three times a day and then the nation’s strength will be released with great force,” Lynch continued.
The director said he has been on his way to Iceland for 20 years but that he has never had the time. “I’m looking forward to it very much.”
