Danes seek advice from Icelandic fortune teller

Danish newspaper BT asked an Icelandic fortune teller to make a prediction about what will happen in Denmark and what prominent persons in Denmark will undertake this year.

The fortune teller, who was not named, predicted that the Danish Crown Princess Mary will have a daughter and take part in charity work. According to the fortune teller, Princess Mary will become a spokesperson for a certain undefined issue. Morgunbladid reports.

The prophecy also included that a famous Danish woman will be active in politics and social issues in 2007 and that a well known Danish politician will pass away.

According to the fortune teller, the weather will be mild and pleasant in Denmark in 2007.

In Iceland, fortune teller Sigrídur Klingenberg usually makes an annual prediction about the New Year, which is published in magazine Vikan.

This year she predicted changes at news broadcaster NFS and heated debates in society regarding immigrants.
