Alongside working on her own choreography Margrét is one of the founding members of the performance group Me and My Friends who have staged the pieces “Humanimal” and “Be My Guest”.
For “Humanimal” Margrét was awarded the Icelandic Theatre Prize as Choreographer of the Year (2009) with Saga Sigurðardóttir and was also named Dancer of the Year.
The performance of “On Misunderstanding” is produced by K3-Tanzplan Hamburg and supported by the Goethe-Institut in Germany and the National Theatre of Iceland. Set and costume design is by Elín Hansdóttir.
