The nightlife in Reykjavík has long been notorious and restaurants, cafés and bars in the city center are thriving, a press release states.

Some have a long and interesting history, a few of which have become centers for bohemians, but others are new and have yet to make a name for themselves.

Participants will be guided around the main party locations in the Kvosin neighborhood, walk through the city center and end at Laugavegur 11.

During the walk they will be enlightened about the history, culture, art and literature of the area and pictures which provide an insight to the atmosphere there will be displayed.

The walk begins at Grófarhús, the main building of Reykjavík City Library on Tryggvagata 15, at 8 pm. The walk is estimated to take one and a half hours. All are welcome and participation is free.
