Crocodile Head and Ivory in Packages to Iceland

The Icelandic Directorate of Customs reports that among banned items to arrive in Iceland via post this year are objects made of ivory and python skin, a crocodile head, a polar bear fur and a turtle shell.

The export of endangered plants and animals or parts thereof is banned without a special permit from the Environment Agency of Iceland.
