Croatian Team Forced to Train Indoors due to Sleet

The Croatian football team are unable to train at Laugardalsvöllur stadium in Reykjavík today as scheduled due to heavy sleet and rain. The first of two World Cup playoffs against Iceland takes place tomorrow evening.

Instead the away team are training at the indoor stadium in Kópavogur, a town just outside the capital, from 11:30 am. The stadium is open to the public during the training, ruv.is reports.

The forecast for tomorrow’s game is 2°C (36°F), southerly wind and light rain.
