According to visir.is, when the cashier didn’t comply with the robbers’ demand on handing over the cash from the register, the man smashed the glass in the counter and threatened to beat the cashier.
Then the pair made a run for it with a small amount of cash. The cashier immediately reported the robbery to the police who were quick to catch up with the woman. She refused to reveal her name and wasn’t carrying any ID, so her identity is unknown.
She is being kept in custody while the search continues for her partner.
