After a successful year in the UK with a No. 1 selling album, sell-out tours and a Classical Brit Award nomination, Icelandic tenor Gardar Cortes is set to release his second album When You Say You Love Me in June 2008.
Cortes’ No. 1 selling debut, simply entitled Cortes, was released last year and stayed at the top spot in the UK for three weeks. The album received widespread acclaim, according to the Iceland Music Export (IMX) newsletter.
When You Say You Love Me is reported to be an exciting blend of classical music with a contemporary twist. Cortes will perform in a series of concerts in the UK, US and Asia this year.
