Consumer confidence drops according to Gallup poll

According the news station NFS, a new Gallup poll has revealed a drop in consumer confidence. It now polls under 100 for the first time since December, 2002. A score less than 100 indicates that more people are pessimistic than optimistic about the economy.

Among other factors, the consumer confidence index polls peoples expectations about jobs, wages and overall prosperity.
