Icelandic reggae band Hjálmar will celebrate the release of their new album IV (The Crocodile Album) with a concert at Reykjavík venue NASA tonight at 11 pm. A number of guest performers will celebrate with them, including a brass trio.
IV is, as the name indicates, the band’s fourth studio album. It was recorded Iceland and Jamaica. A documentary on Hjálmar’s journey to Jamaica accompanies the album’s first edition of the album.
According to a Kimi Records press release, the album will be sold with a 20 percent discount this weekend in the Eymundsson stores and the new record store Havarí.
Tickets cost ISK 1,500 (USD 12, EUR 7) and are sold in pre-concert sales at Eymundsson on Austurstraeti and Havarí.
