Cold, Windy and Clear Weather in Iceland at Easter

There will be plenty of snow in north and east Iceland during the Easter weekend, according to information from the Icelandic Meteorological Office. South and west Iceland will be void of snow but have cold and clear weather.

Meteorologist Theódór Hervar Hervarsson told Fréttabladid that there will be a cold wind from the northeast in the entire country on Saturday.

It will likely be windy in the southern and western regions and snowfall is predicted for the north and east, at least in the mountains.

After that the weather might change. Temperatures could rise in the southwest and west Iceland might see some snowfall.
