The main choir and girls’ choir of Neskirkja church in Reykjavík and the troubadour KK, who call themselves Englar himins (“The Angels of Heaven”), will perform together in the church on May 8 at 8 pm.

KK’s songs were arranged by Neskirkja’s organist Steingrímur Thórhallsson, who will also conduct the concert. To back KK, Thorsteinn Einarsson will play guitar and Sölvi Kristjánsson the bass, a press release states.
KK will sing about seven songs by himself and then the choirs will perform seven songs with him. KK’s songs have never been arranged for choirs before.
Tickets cost ISK 2,000 (USD 18, EUR 12) at the pre-concert sale at the music store 12 Tónar and by choir members and ISK 2,500 (USD 22, EUR 15) at the door. Neskirkja is located on Hagatorg, 107 Reykjavík.
