Ma Yun (also known as Jack Ma), the owner of Alibaba e-commerce company, visited Iceland yesterday. According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Ma is the richest person in China and one of the richest individuals in the world.
Ma arrived at Reykjavík International Airport in his private jet on Saturday along with ten other people, including members of his family. They visited the Golden Circle and Chinese restaurant Fönix yesterday.
“He had a very low profile. He was really just making a stopover on the way to the States,” a staff member of Fönix told Vísir.”
