Yesterday police authorities arrested a man in his forties suspected of having lured at least two young children into a bush by a high school in Reykjavík suburb Breidholt. According to police, the man lured the children with hamsters.
A witness saw two children following the man into the bush and notified police. When police arrived the children were still there. Police have made no statement as to what took place in the bush, Fréttabladid reports.
The man was taken to the police station for questioning and the case is being investigated. It is not yet known whether the man has approached other children as well.
