Undercover police reportedly spent ISK 800,000 (USD 6,600, EUR 4,900) in champagne and time with the women and offered them money and cocaine in return for sex but to no avail.

Police commissioner at the Reykjavík Metropolitan Police, Stefán Eiríksson, has denied the allegations saying that no violations took place on the part of the police.
