A car drove off a bridge in central Reykjavík yesterday, crashing into the frozen pond in front of the City Hall.
A man in his eighties was in the car alone when he drove off the road. He managed to get out by himself and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Fréttabladid reports.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
