Campers Brave Cold in Reykjavík

By Iceland Review

Sigríður Ólafsdóttir, campsite manager at Laugardalur, the capital area campsite, told that between 30 and 40 tents were pitched last night when the temperature dropped to +1.5°C (34.7°F).

According to Sigríður, most of the campers currently staying at the campsite are from Central Europe.

The peak season at the campsite begins at the end of June.
