According to Strætó, services have been improved including the extension of services later into the night and on Saturdays. The frequency of buses on popular routes has been increased to every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes, instead of every hour, in the evening.

This is the first time in the company’s history that passengers make so many trips.
