It was a miracle that no one was seriously hurt when a bus with eight employees from the ALCOA aluminum smelter in Reyðarfjörður blew off the road at Oddskarð mountain pass, between Neskaupsstaður and Eskifjörður, in the East Fjords last night.

Only one passenger was admitted to hospital in Neskaupsstaður for treatment of minor injuries.
A combination of strong winds and icy roads at Oddskarð led to the accident, vísir.is reports.
The bus rolled three times before stopping on its side.
