British Airways to start flying to Iceland

British Airways will start flying to Iceland beginning March 2006 reports Iceland State Radio, RÚV today. The flights will depart from London Gatwick Airport five times per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Round trip tickets will be priced at ISK 22.990 taxes included.

Flights will depart from Gatwick at 7:30 AM and arrive in Keflavík at 9:45. Forty five minutes later flights will depart from Keflavík to Gatwick, arriving at 14:35. In a released statement British Airways said the new route not only offers Icelanders a convenient time schedule but also the opportunity to make easy connection flights to 151 BA destinations in 72 countries worldwide.
