The record label Bedroom Community, founded in 2006 by a collective of artists with ties to Breiðholt, a district of Reykjavík, will be hosting an art festival on Saturday June 13.
Breiðholt Festival will comprise of a variety of concerts, workshops, markets, outdoor games and art happenings all around the neighborhood Seljahverfi.
According to the organizers, the festival was borne out of the desire “that guests experience Breiðholt in a new light” and discover “all the beauty the neighborhood and its residents have to offer.”
Confirmed acts include Samaris, Ben Frost — 6 Guitars (Valgeir Sigurðsson, Kira Kira, Jófríður and more), Nico Muhly, Sjón, Stelpur Rokka! and DFM Company.
