Brazilian Artist Exhibits in Reykjavík Museum

In a press release, Marcellvs L. explains that the project is an attempt to widen out the philosophical ideas of Félix Guttari and Gilles Deleuze on the rhizome.

The idea behind it is that ideas can never be worked out and that they are never perfect or infinite. It is important to continue working on ideas and connect them with the world and the present day, he elaborates.

“The series, which is divided into two parts, production and distribution, was never intended to be an illustration of the idea of the rhizome but rather a construction of a rhizomic production and the distribution of audio and video art,” the press release describes.

On January 14 at 6 pm, the artist will give a presentation at the Modern Art Museum entitled “Obscurantism of Facts”. The exhibition runs through February 6.
