Police reported unusually high incidence of drunkenness and violence in downtown Reykjavík last weekend. One bouncer was bit in the chest by a 17-year-old girl.
By Sunday morning four assaults had been reported to the police. In two of those cases doormen were attacked after refusing to let their assaulters enter the clubs they were guarding. Fréttabladid reports.
