Adam Hotel on Skólavörðustígur, Reykjavík, which made headlines earlier this year for recommending that guests drink bottled water, sold at the hotel, instead of from the tap, is in the news again.
This time, the Reykjavík Public Health Authority has confirmed that the bottled water originated from the tap at the hotel. Nothing was found wrong with the quality of the tap water.
RÚV reports that according to the Public Health Authority, the hotel owner has admitted having filled the bottles with water from the hotel faucet.
Last month, police sealed 11 out of the 20 rooms at the hotel, because the business had a permit for only nine rooms.
