Body of Swiss Tourist Found

A body discovered in Seyðisfjörður Saturday was that of a Swiss man, according to Vísir. He had been traveling alone in the country and had plans to stay in Seyðisfjörður for quite some time. His car had been parked by Fjarðaselsvirkjun power plant for the past few days, but his body was discovered around 6 pm in a mountainous area nearby. Police believe the man fell while climbing.

An extensive search was conducted Saturday, because no one had heard from the man since Tuesday. After a four-hour search, the body was found.
