Blues Festival Held in Southeast Iceland

The 2009 Northern Lights Blues Festival will be held in Höfn í Hornafirdi, southeast Iceland, this week. Thirty-two musicians in nine bands will perform during the festival, which is being held for the fourth time.

Performers include father-and-son duo Mugison and Papa Mug and the bands B.Sig., Vax and Pitchfork Rebellion, Fréttabladid reports.

The Northern Lights Blues Festival begins on Thursday and closes on Saturday. Admission is free.
