Blue Lagoon Iceland is preparing to export its skin products to foreign markets for release in Scandinavia early next year and in London next spring.
The products will be sold in Aahlens City in Stockholm, Sweden, Magazin in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Selfridges in London, England. Bladid reports.
Blue Lagoon Director Grímur Saemundsen told Bladid that foreign department stores have expressed their interest in selling Blue Lagoon skin products for a some time. He also says he has received up to 350 enquiries about partnerships abroad.
Saemundsen is now exploring the possibility of opening spas in Scandinavia and Germany similar to the popular Blue Lagoon in Iceland. But, he said, that will not happen in the near future.
