According to the festival’s website, the show is a multimedia piece including music, nature and technology, and is one of Björk’s most ambitious projects to date. After the premiere she will tour the world with her show in collaboration with MIF.

Other performers at the MIF include Damon Albarn, Sinéad O’Connor, Rickie Lee Jones and Paul Heaton. The festival will take place between June 30 and July 17.

In other music news closer to home, punk band Dr. Spock will play at Reykjavík concert venue NASA tonight, which is described as “a countryside dance in the city,” supported by Haffi Haff, Cliff Clavin, Endless Dark and other bands. The doors open at 9 pm.
