Björk played on the “orange stage” at the Roskilde music festival yesterday, which, according to Danish media, was the rainiest day the festival had ever experienced. The entire camping area turned into a swamp.
About 1,600 Icelanders are at the festival, including Morgunbladid’s reporter Ingveldur Geirsdóttir. “When the music is good people forget about their surroundings and have fun. People danced barefoot in the mud and some even rolled around in it,” she said.
Björk’s concert was the final concert yesterday and her countrymen agree that her performance was good. Spectators were also pleased with the performances from The Arcade Fire and The Killers.
