Icelandic musician Björk has been nominated for two awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards, to be held in Munich November 1, as best solo artist and as best rocker.
Björk is currently on a world tour following the release of her latest studio album Volta. The next concerts will be in Montreal, Madison Square Garden in New York and in South America, Fréttabladid reports.
She is expected to release a new album later this year, which was recorded during one session at the Olympic Studios in London. It is believed to contain new versions of previously published songs.
