Reykjavík City Council is exploring the possibility of moving Björk’s exhibition, which is currently on show at MoMA in New York, to Reykjavík, visir.is reports.
Reykjavík Mayor Dagur B. Eggertsson has visited the exhibition. “There are of course few people who have had as big a part in placing Reykjavík on the map, and Iceland at the same time, as Björk and she is without doubt one of our most notable artists. Therefore we have interest that this exhibition, which spans her entire career and which will travel the world, possibly ends in Reykjavík,” he said.
Dagur said that the issue had been discussed with both Björk and MoMA.
