A multimedia exhibition featuring Icelandic musician Björk opens September 1 in London, timeout.com reports. The exhibit will run through October 23 at Somerset House. This is a virtual reality project never before seen in Europe. It uses music from Björk’s latest album Vulnicura and includes a two-screen film called Black Lake, as well as a series of 360-degree VR videos.
By strapping on a pair of goggles, you can watch Björk perform on an Icelandic beach and sing ‘Mouthmantra’ from inside her mouth!
The show includes components from Björk’s MOMA exhibition in New York City in 2015, which also traveled to Australia and Tokyo this summer. ‘Björk Digital’ is, however, a work in progress, and the London show will include the transformation of the musician into a giant.
On September 21, Björk, back to her natural size, will perform in person at the Royal Albert Hall.
