American business mogul, founder of Microsoft, and the world’s wealthiest man, Bill Gates, has spent the past few days on holiday in Iceland with his family. They will depart today.
Gates and his family enjoyed a packed schedule while in Iceland—visiting several Icelandic landmarks, such Gullfoss and Geysir; enjoying a private horse show at farm Friðheimar in Reykholt; sailing around the Westman Islands; taking a helicopter trip to Hornstrandir in the West Fjords; and going for a dip in the Blue Lagoon after hours.
They stayed at the Trophy Lodge in Úthlíð, South Iceland which has previously hosted celebrities such as Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
According to Vísir, reliable sources claim that the Gates family brought all necessities with them to the country, and didn’t taste so much as a drop of Icelandic water.
